Further to our previous email which was forwarded on 24 March 2020 regarding the support packages available for businesses during the current Coronavirus pandemic, we would like to make you aware that the Government have recently updated their guidance in relation to the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (which is due to open on 20 April 2020).
Click on the appropriate links below to read our flyers which summarise each of the following schemes:
- The Small Business Grant Scheme and the £25,000 Business Grant Scheme,
- The Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme which went live on 20 April 2020,
- The Self Employed Income Support Scheme and
- The Coronavirus Support For the Northern Ireland Fishing Industry.
Please note that the overviews are based on information available on 24 April 2020. However, as the situation continues to evolve on a day by day basis, this information is subject to change.
In particular, changes have been announced in relation to the written agreement which should be obtained between an employer and those employees who have been/will be furloughed.
Therefore, if you had used the ‘Template letter for employee designated as furloughed worker’ which was attached to our email on 24 March 2020, please note that it will be necessary to update this immediately based on the recent Government guidance.
As ever, we are here to support you through these tough times. Therefore, if you have any queries in respect of the above, please do not hesitate to contact us using the details below.
