With over 20 years of experience within the Northern Ireland SME sector, Una has built an extensive knowledge in all areas of general practice. Her routine workload is suitably varied and includes, audit, accountancy, personal and corporate tax planning, management and financial consultancy, business development and forensic accounting.
Una is responsible for an extensive and varied portfolio of clients from owner managed businesses, through to professional partnerships, clubs and limited companies. Her experience spans many sectors including manufacturing, construction, retail, marine fishing, farming, not-for-profit organisations and charities.
Catherine is a founder member of Purdy Quinn, a Bachelor of Science and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
She has a great history of forming excellent relationships with clients and is responsible for delivering accountancy, tax, audit and financial services to a wide client base - sole traders, partnerships and SME Limited companies. Her expertise includes the preparation of accounts across a range of industry sectors and preparing Statutory Financial Statements for SMEs.
Catherine has many years of experience in Tax, both Income Tax and Corporation Tax giving a comprehensive service for small unincorporated businesses and SME Limited Companies and many years of experience in conducting audits, delivering the highest quality audit and assurance to our clients.
When not working Catherine enjoys playing golf, pilates and spending time with grandchildren and family members.
Michaela joined Purdy Quinn in 2017 as Tax Manager, is a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Chartered Accountants Ireland and the Association of Tax Technicians.
Michaela has considerable experience in personal tax compliance and planning, including advice to professional partnerships and families with interests in owner managed businesses; experience in a wide range of tax consultancy projects, covering areas such as business succession and retirement planning, capital gains tax planning, inheritance tax planning and pension planning; experience in a wide range of personal and corporate tax compliance issues, spanning a variety of sectors including farming, fishing and construction; and experience in dealing with HMRC enquiries and assisting clients with the introduction and set-up of Making Tax Digital for VAT.
Michaela is passionate about helping clients deal with the ever-changing and challenging world of taxation, whether that is responding to HMRC in the appropriate manner or planning ahead for changes to the tax legislation.
In her free time, Michaela enjoys the gym, walking, reading and spending time with her family.
